Description

This is an area of the Rosette seldom imaged on its own. I thought it fitting to reveal some of the more hidden qualities of this amazing nebula. I find that the FSQ 106 at f3, with its 318mm focal length is a great survey instrument, very useful in identifying portions of nebulae that make great stand alone images for later capture with a longer focal length, slightly bigger scope. There are, literally, millions of such targets.
